Monsoon Valley Vineyard is built on a former elephant corral, a place where wild Asian elephants were domesticated. The terrain of loamy-sand and slate and constant ocean breeze allow international grape varietals to thrive and produce aromatic and award-winning Monsoon Valley Wines. Siam Winery started developing the site after successfully experimenting at the nearby Royal Research Station at Huay Sai in 2003.
This red is a blend of Shiraz and indigenous grapes from the Pokdum region. Plums and red fruits on the nose, soft and velvety texture lingers on the palate through the finish with leathery undertone and berry notes. Especially good with: red curries, weeping tiger, beef salad, Panang Beef and chilli pork.
