Chateau Riviere 2018, Minervois

Located due east of the Medieval town of Carcassonne, Château Riviere is situated on limestone-clay terraces at the heart of the Minervois appellation. Here it’s vines flourish amid a landscape of pines, rosemary and juniper bushes.

A blend of 65% Syrah, 20% Carignan and 15% old vine Grenache; this wine reveals an intense bouquet of smokey blackberry fruit with spice with herbal notes. The palate is rich, soft and supple, with blackberry, red cherry and ripe strawberry fruit. Enjoy with charcuterie or chargrilled sausages.
