Brouilly, Domaine des Poutoux

Brouilly is one of the less well known Beaujolais Cru and as such can be a bit of a bargain.

This seductive, silky red is well-balanced with delectably soft tannins.  Beneath its deep garnet hue, the wine offers an elegant and expressive nose with intense and slightly jammy red fruit aromas.  It is supple and soft with smooth, melted tannins which give it a very attractive and succulent character.
