Jurancon may not be that well known, but wine has been made here for centuries and was even the favourite drink of Henri IV. Both sweet and dry wines are produced and this superb white from Domaine Cauhape is dry, yet rich and flavoursome. When young, the unoaked style has a grapefruit note, but over time it fills and fattens whilst keeping excellent acidity.
